Nuit Blanche Saskatoon aims to provide opportunities for people of all ages to engage with Saskatoon’s contemporary art scene while exploring public spaces. As a non-profit organization, we rely on volunteers year-round to carry out this mission and bring our festival to life.

  • The Communications Committee works year round to encourage people to attend our festival.

    The purpose of the Communications Committee is encourage people to attend Nuit Blanche Saskatoon. The committee works with various stakeholders and community members to share information regarding events, deadlines, artists and to monitor the organization’s progress towards stakeholder engagement for the purpose of increasing audience turnout and participation at the annual Nuit Blanche festival.

    Committee members will be responsible for managing the festival’s key communication platforms, which includes social media, traditional media, posters, signage, media relations, and web design. Preference will be shown for applicants that have experience and/or training in graphic design and marketing.

  • The Fund Development Committee builds the revenue and relationships we need to create a successful festival.

    The Fund Development Committee creates, directs and monitors a comprehensive and tactical fund development plan for revenue generation to support organizational operations and fund the annual Nuit Blanche Saskatoon festival.

    The Fund Development Committee provides the opportunity to assist in drafting sponsorship proposals and grant applications. Committee members will gain experience in developing and maintaining sponsor relations. Members are encouraged to apply creative thinking in identifying and leveraging in-kind sponsorship and community partnerships opportunities.

  • The Operations & Logistics Committee organizes and implements plans for our festival.

    The purpose of the Operations & Logistics Committee is to identify, plan, prepare, and undertake all the logistical requirements for the annual Nuit Blanche festival. This includes coordinating our team of amazing volunteers.

    Committee members will gain project management experience, including navigating City of Saskatoon event hosting requirements and regulations, event volunteer management, and supporting festival artists from a logistical perspective to enact their creative vision through such means as identifying needed equipment or acting as a liaison between the artist and the city.

We welcome applications from everyone! It is the aim of Nuit Blanche to have an organization that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. Prior experience in one of the committee's areas of responsibility is beneficial, but not necessary.
