“Between Borders, Between Worlds”

This spoken word piece explores the hidden struggles, and identity misappropriation often experienced by international students as they navigate a new life here back from home. Through this spoken word, I aim to capture the weight of distance between international students and their parents, the complexity of belonging in a new environment, and the silent battles of adaptation.Using my personal experience, I aim to evoke a deep emotional connection, inviting the listenersto understand the untold struggles.
