Host an Independent Project at NBYXE!

In addition to our call for submission artists, we are excited to partner with businesses, organizations, galleries, museums, or non-profits like yours to host Independent Projects. This is a unique opportunity for you to showcase your work and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of the 2025 Nuit Blanche Saskatoon festival.

Independent Projects are self-produced, self-funded works presented by a business, organization, gallery, museum, or non-profit as part of Nuit Blanche Saskatoon’s overall event. They can activate and transform spaces across the city in traditional and non-traditional spaces, including the public realm, parks, galleries, storefronts, office towers, streets, sidewalks, etc..

Host a project during our event on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, from 7 pm to 12 am!

HOSTING Guidelines

Any business, organization, gallery, museum, or non-profit interested in hosting an event that celebrates art and culture, fosters connection, or builds community is welcome to apply as part of Nuit Blanche’s event. Your project will be showcased as part of the main event. You or your organization will be responsible for securing funding, planning, preparing, and presenting your project.

This is an excellent opportunity to share a pre-existing project with a new audience or to modify an idea to take it to a different level. You will meet with the Nuit Blanche Saskatoon Team to discuss your project and receive guidance on planning. We will work with you to secure a location for your project and promote the event. We are open to all submissions showcasing arts and culture or building a sense of community. Below are some ideas for inspiration, but please submit any ideas you think might work.
