Naaz Sedaghatkerdar
Naaz Sedaghatkerdar is an interdisciplinary artist , pursuing her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Saskatchewan. Her work explores themes of identity, belonging, displacement, dislocation and the immigrant experience, drawing on her personal journey from Iran to Canada. Through visual art, performance, and storytelling, Naaz weaves together a tapestry of her experience.
“Bright Stop”
Bright Stop is a fleeting dream woven into the urban landscape—a luminous, warm moment in the in-between time. Like myself, these balloons have journeyed from distant shores and now shimmer here. Is this the end of a journey or the beginning of one? What is the previous station, and what comes next? These remain mysteries.
There is beauty here, connection, and the courage to begin, to keep waiting, to keep dreaming, to keep becoming.
