Nuit Blanche Saskatoon is excited to host a free workshop to launch and guide our ‘Call for Artists’ for the festival on September 19, 2026. With the theme “Future,” this workshop aims to encourage applications from a diverse range of artists, including first-time applicants, emerging artists, youth artists, and newcomer artists.
About the curator
Xiao Han is a Saskatoon-based curator originally from Wuhan, China. Han's research explores diaspora identity, the relationship between immigrants and indigenous land, and contemporary gender issues through a decolonial lens.
Han has curated numerous exhibitions in Saskatoon, nationally and internationally. With extensive experience in art and curatorial practice, Han believes that art lives in public spaces and is meant to foster connections within communities.
