Two Bees Productions
Two Bees Productions was formed in 2023 in Saskatoon on Treaty 6 Territory for its inaugural theatrical production of The Anger in Ernest & Ernestine. Now led by Danova Dickson and Judith Schulz, Two Bees is passionate about making excellent theatre that makes people feel and think. As they head towards the opening of their second production, Yaga, by Kat Sandler, running from October 9-19 at The Refinery, they are exploring the themes of mystery, folklore, and feminine power through the stories of Baba Yaga.
“The Yaga Files”
The Yaga Files will be an engaging dive into the character of Baba Yaga, a Slavic legend. There are many stories and legends surrounding Baba Yaga. Who is Baba Yaga, really? What is she like? Is she a witch? Does she live in a house on chicken legs? We hope attendees will come say hi to our Yagas, listen to a tale or two, and take a peek at her house!
