Saskatoon Open Door Society is a non-profit organization serving refugees and newcomers to Saskatoon. Through creative art projects, we bring together people of different backgrounds and from all walks of life to build more diverse, inclusive, and peaceful communities.
“The Peace bird Experience”
The Saskatoon Open Door Society (SODS) and Interdisciplinary Society of Global Artists (ISGA) present The Peace Bird Experience—an interactive installation celebrating unity, creativity, and cultural expression. Visitors can weave a community tapestry, craft “Peace Bird” wings, and become Peace Ambassadors. Poetry from Saskatchewan’s Youth Poet Laureate and Poet Laureate, along with other performances, will bring the atmosphere alive. Together, we’ll weave peace into art, words, and movement.
