Chikako Ogawa is a Saskatoon-based visual artist from Japan. Inspired by Japanese culture, memory, and everyday moments, she creates ink-based works that explore simplicity and emotional depth. Her practice bridges Japanese and Canadian experiences through exhibitions, public art, and community engagement.


Yokai sanpo: A night stroll

Yokai Sanpo is an immersive visual experience inspired by Japanese folklore, featuring handcrafted papier-mâché yokai. Designed for a nighttime setting, the installation invites visitors to discover softly illuminated spirits hidden throughout the space, creating a quiet, magical encounter that celebrates imagination, storytelling, and the unseen world.
