April Doepker
April Doepker is a Métis multi-media artist based in Saskatoon. With work ranging from urban graffiti-style stencil portraits, abstract landscapes, murals, and installations work. Mediums include spray-paint, acrylics, and recently experimenting with electronic music, creating art that is often abstract and dreamlike.
Beyond aesthetics, Doepker’s work frequently serves as a platform for social advocacy, highlighting issues impacting Indigenous communities. Her diverse portfolio has been exhibited in galleries across Saskatchewan, merging cultural narrative with contemporary technique.

This immersive installation invites you into a light-filled celebration of Indigenous Futurism—In this dreamscape nature and culture merge with a tech-filled future. A dream space amongst the trees, with futuristic plants, shimmering iridescent fabrics and a dreamy electronic soundscape.
At the heart of this world, a video screen shaped like a traditional stretched hide bridges ancestral spirits with a high-tech tomorrow. It is a playful, luminous exploration of the place where we dream.
