I/O
I/O is an artist collective that approaches cross-discipline art as a singular experience, led by the experimental duo of Factor Eight and Briana Gillet. Joining them are Saskatoon-based choreographer, dancer, and music artist Kirk Ford, and Vancouver-based Brazilian-Canadian dancer and choreographer Nina Salles-Grubor. Together, for "You are here.", they take over a closed intersection with sound, movement, light, and sculpture.

On a map, the "you are here" marker is where a journey begins. Tonight, it is the destination. A car sits in the middle of a closed intersection. Reframed as sculpture: dancers move through and around it, while a soundscape built from silence fills the street. However you crossed the city to get here, there is nothing left to plan and nowhere else to be. Let the past and the future go quiet. Let it wash over you. You are here.
