As a third-year university art student, my practice is inspired by the natural world and the beauty found within it. I create artwork that explores nature through my own perspective, drawing inspiration from organic forms, landscapes, plants, and the environments around me. Through my work, I aim to capture the atmosphere and visual qualities of nature while expressing my personal connection to the world around me. As I continue to develop my artistic practice, I explore different materials and techniques to better communicate these ideas and experiences.

Stop and smell the rose

The world I have created is a digital garden space meant to showcase and bring the viewer into a calm, nature-focused space. The space consists of three 3D scanned objects (the tree, and flowers at the sides) and 9 photographs (the flower photos and the blue that the space is encapsulated in which is a photo of the sky) all scaled up to reflect the importance of nature in the space and to impart the impression of being in the middle of a garden.

Overall, this world is meant to emulate an immersive break from the fast-paced lives we live, allowing the viewer to block everything else out and realign themselves by focusing attention to something one wouldn't normally give attention to.
