In his paintings, soft sculpture, assemblage and performances he explores themes of nostalgia, memory and personal identity. His performances draw on improv, drag and theatre. Imaginary Friends: Lemonade Stand is an interactive lemonade stand with a life size Teddy Bear portrayed by the artist. People of all ages are invited to visit Teddy and his friends, Mr Frog and Rabbit Friend to participate in a playful, imaginative exchange where they can acquire “lemonade” from Teddy's stand. No charge. All Teddy asks in exchange is that you take a minute to communicate to him and his friends. Teddy doesn't speak aloud, but rather communicates through gestures and small drawings. He might let you keep one of you ask politely
