Ryan A. Richard is a Métis intermedia sculptor and incoming MFA candidate at the University of Saskatchewan. Grounded in the relational ethics of wâhkôhtowin, his practice explores the intersections of identity, ancestral memory, and contemporary Indigenous experience. By bridging traditional land-based craft with advanced digital technologies, Richard channels a restless creative energy to investigate the tensions between physical reality, historical resilience, and modern algorithmic spaces.

This immersive experience honors Métis kinship by stitching the festival-goers together in a shared algorithmic space. Come dance, move, and play before the lens, and watch as your physical reality is transformed into a vibrant, glowing quilt of contemporary community art expression.
