Synthetic Meridian
Synthetic Meridian is an interactive cybernetic installation that positions the participant at a speculative threshold between the present and possible futures.
Through a deceptively simple interface, the terminal invites individual reflection on how our individual choices participate in the ongoing construction of what comes next.
By transforming the act of choosing into a physical encounter, the installation asks us to consider the future not as a distant destination, but as something continuously produced through our own actions in the present.

Skylar Raine
Skylar Raine is a mixed-media artist exploring how ordinary things can become extraordinary experiences. Their practice uses everyday objects, materials, and environments as starting points for interactive works of art that prompt reflection about our world. Dwelling at the nexus of art, storytelling, and experience design, Skylar creates playful installations that encourage people to pause, look closer, and connect with each other and their surroundings through the familiar things they encounter every day.
