Bárbara González is an architect and urban designer from Guadalajara, Mexico, currently based in Saskatoon, Canada.
Her work explores grief, identity, and the understanding of her body and her life as fragile, creating spaces of transition where intimate experiences are brought to light, inviting audiences to experience what words are unable to contain.

Serendipia II is an exploration of inhabiting a shifting terrain: the sound wandering in my memories, seeking its place. It combines recordings of my beloved Pacific Ocean and everyday sounds from Maple Street, where time stretched and shrank. The layers of sound become a space where pain and stillness coexist — where memories and reality merge and distort, becoming a fever dream.
Serendipia does not seek resolution. Instead, it dwells in the tension between dissolution and the quiet force that resists sinking. It becomes an attempt to translate the unspoken language of pain into a language of sound and movement.
